Just north of Waimea Bay, Chuns Reef provides excellent surfing for both intermediate and skilled surfers mainly during the winter months. When the surf is smaller and much more manageable, Chuns Reef provides beginner surfers a chance to experience Oahu's north shore surf. In the summertime as the north shore swells diminish, Chuns Reef provides visitors with great snorkeling and sea turtle watching in the clear and beautiful water. As part of the North Shore, Chuns is one of the quieter beaches with lots of golden sand along with amenities including lifeguards, restrooms, and sheer beauty. If you're looking for a great place to swim during the summer of catch waves in the winter, you won't want to miss Chuns Reef.
