Consistently voted as one of the world's top beaches, Kailua Beach on the east side of Oahu Kailua Beach Park is a great place to take the whole family while kicking back and enjoying some of the cleanest ocean and fluffy and powdery sand in the world. You'll find miles of beautiful sand in Kailua and the beach is directly in the path of popular trade winds that help keep you cool while providing excellent opportunities to learn the sport of wind surfing. Wind surfing lessons, gear, and rentals can be found at several nearby local shops while swimming, sun bathing, fishing, boogie boarding and other beach-time fun in the sand are all common activities at Kailua Beach Park. As you head east towards the area of Lanikai, you'll find the two twin islands named the Mokuluas about a mile or two offshore. Kailua Beach provides amenities including public including rest rooms, concession stands, showers, and more. Please check with lifeguards before venturing into the ocean and check all warning signs posted on the beach.
