Polynesian Cultural Center Extends Its Keiki Pricing Special Through the End of the Year

Families Save Big as Kids ages 5 to 15 Get Keiki Pricing, Under 5 are Free

La‘ie, HI – September 29, 2008 – Families will have more to smile about this fall as the Polynesian Cultural Center extends its special keiki (child) age range through December 31. PCC originally offered keiki ticket pricing to guests ages 5 to 15 during the summer, but due to popular demand, will continue the special until the end of the year. Normal keiki admission prices are for ages 3 to 11. This also means that keiki under 5 get in free, giving an added boost on ticket savings for families visiting the PCC for the rest of the year.

"We hope that keiki and their families will take the opportunity to enjoy the new and enriching attractions that the PCC has to offer, and experience some of our upcoming events including our Haunted Lagoon for Halloween and Christmas in Polynesia," said Ray Magalei, director of marketing for the PCC. "Families are the hardest hit during tougher economic times, and we want to help our guests save on admission prices."

Families can enjoy the newest attraction at the PCC, Iosepa: Voyage of Discovery, as well as PCC's "Go Native!" interactive activities in each island village including learning how to twirl the poi in Aotearoa, fishing in Tahiti and getting a parent-approved temporary tattoo in Fiji.  The Passport to Polynesia offers a host of activities and rewards at participating partners like 7-Eleven, Denny's, Snorkfin and Coldstone Creamery.

Kids can also enjoy Hawai‘i's only IMAX™ film Coral Reef Adventure and learn about the importance of the reef to Polynesia and its people.  Later, families can cap off the night with the Ali‘i Lu‘au, Hawai‘i's most authentic Hawaiian lu‘au experience and enjoy "Horizons", the largest Polynesian revue in the islands.

Keiki admission prices start at $33.00.  For more information or to make reservations, please call the Polynesian Cultural Center ticket office at (800) 367-7060 or visit the PCC Web site at www.polynesia.com. In Hawai‘i, call (808) 293-3333.
