POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER HOSTS SPECIAL MOTHER’S DAY DINNER, CONCERT AND DANCE
Mothers and Families Can Dance the Night Away to the Sounds of Island Times 2
Laie, Hawaii – April 26, 2012 – The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) is paying tribute to the most important women in the world, mothers. On Friday, May 11, host your mother to a special Mother’s Day dinner, concert and dance in the gorgeous new Gateway restaurant for only $22 a person.
Start the evening with a culinary journey at the Island Buffet buffet, featuring authentic dishes from throughout Polynesia such as Fijian chicken curry and Maori potato top along with a variety of kamaaina favorites such as fresh island fish, roast pork and lemon chicken. Then dance the night away to the hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s performed live by Island Times 2 in the 24,400-square-foot venue with a structural design that harkens back to that of a Samoan fale with wide wooden pillars and angular sweeping roof.
“Polynesians have a fond place in their heart for their mothers and we’d like to share that love and aloha with all mothers on this special day,” said Raymond Magalei, PCC’s Director of Marketing. “It’ll be a fun-filled evening of good food and good music in a great environment.”
Tickets to the Mother’s Day dinner, concert and dance are $22 presale or $25 at the door. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m. with the concert and dance to follow.
