Hawaii’s most authentic lu‘au just got better. The Polynesian Cultural Center has reintroduced its award-winning Ali‘i Lu‘au with a new enlarged venue and new performances.
The secluded lu‘au site includes a picturesque tropical lagoon, a 15-foot waterfall and an “imu” (the Hawaiian word for underground oven) in which the luau pig is baked.
The lu‘au experience begins as each guest is personally greeted with a fresh flower lei. The evening continues with mouthwatering pork and other traditional delicacies, a recreation of the ancient ceremony of ancient lu‘aus, as well as more contemporary Hawaiian entertainment.
Each guest leaves the Ali‘i Lu‘au with a warm feeling that comes from experiencing the food, flavor and fun of old and new Hawai‘i.
