Elder Don and Sister Rowena Aina

From Forest Grove, Oregon.  Elder Aina taught mathematics, and had a quality painting business.  He is working as a painter.  Sister Aina is serving as a seamstress, and at the Mission Settlement.  This is their first senior mission.

Elder Dave and Sister Jackie Allen

From Mesa, Arizona. They are assigned to work on PCC special events such as the annual Haunted Lagoon. He is a retired dental technician, and she was a school teacher, homemaker and apartment manager. This is their first senior mission.

Elder Ben Ballam

From Logan, Utah.  Elder Ballam has been a student at Utah State University.   He was called to serve at the Mission Settlement of the PCC.  He’s learning the ukulele, and sings very well.  He also enjoys acting, and playing wheelchair basketball.  His sign language skills bless many of the PCC guests also!  He’s a great addition to the PCC.

Sister Janice Boice

From Oregon City, Oregon. Sister Boice, who recently returned from serving a proselyting mission in Melbourne, Australia, is assigned as a video editor in the PCC's In-House Marketing Department.

Elder Gary & Sister Laura Cardno

From Langley, British Columbia, Canada.  Elder Cardno has worked for 20 years as an HVAC technician, and managed the maintenance department of a co-op.  He also invented a conveyor system, and ran the conveyor company.  Sister Cardno, besides helping with their 6 children and 10 grandchildren, has worked in a plant nursery. Sister Cardno will be working in PCC seamstress, and Elder Cardno will be in physical facilities.

Elder Denis & Sister Sherleen Cooper

From Hyrum, Utah.  Elder Cooper spent over 30 years as a journeyman lineman.  His skills as an electrician are a great asset to the PCC with their electrical projects.   Elder Cooper also served in the National Guard – retiring after 26 years of service.  He loves the outdoors – including hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, etc.   He served in the California South Mission when he was younger.   Sister Cooper enjoys playing the piano, crocheting, cooking, decorating and sewing.  She loves taking night classes to learn other skills as well.  She is presently serving in the seamstress area of the PCC.  The Coopers have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.

Sister Tessie Crummett

From Raymond, Washington.  Besides raising, and home schooling, her kids; she has been a floral designer, artist, and dog trainer.  Sister Crummett also loves to sew, paint, crochet, knit and garden.  She is serving in the seamstress area of the PCC.  This is her first mission.

Sister Linda Davis

From Draper, Utah, Sister Davis is a grandmother, and has been in banking for years – serving as bank manager for 11 of those years.  She is currently assigned to work in Human Resources, and helps in the mailroom.  This is her first senior mission.

Elder Ron and Sister Naomi Dummar

From Heber, Utah.  They are serving as Safety Officers at the PCC.  They were in the Church Educational System for 31 years, after Elder Dummar spent 11 years in the Armed Forces.  They served a previous mission in Romania.

Sister Lynette Gurr

From South Jordan, Utah.  She has 3 children, and 10 grandchildren.  Sister Gurr had her own beauty salon in her home for 35 years – as she was raising her children.  She loves being active … bicycling, walking, camping, and traveling.  She also makes jewelry, sews and cooks well.  She is currently working in the Island Office of the PCC.

Sister Harris

From Salt Lake City, Utah.  Sister Harris recently returned to the PCC to complete the mission that she started with her husband earlier this year.  (Her husband passed away in June. This was the 4th mission that they had served.)  Sister Harris has a multitude of talents to share.  She loves family history, scrapbooking and cooking.  She’s working as the protocol secretary at the PCC.

Sister Cheryl Hubbard

From Tucson, Arizona.  Sister Hubbard has worked as a cashier, and for Hughes Aircraft.  She also worked for a bank as a vault teller, and in verification.  She has also sewed leather items for a tack store.  She loves riding horses, and spending time with grandchildren.  She’ll be working in seamstress department at PCC.

Sister Esfira Humphreys

From Shelton Washington.  Sister Humphreys has 3 children, 12
grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.  She has been a waitress/hostess, hairdresser, and a bookkeeper/accountant.  She loves to read and play the violin.   She can also speak Russian.  She is serving in the PCC Island Office.  This is her first mission.

Sister Grace Lee

From Centerville, Utah.  Sister Lee grew up in Taiwan, where she was a professional graphics artist, and a ladies handbag designer.  After moving to the US, she worked as a textile designer in the New York area.  She loves to sing, paint and sew.  She is working in the HR area of the PCC.

Elder Joe and Sister Janice Maples

From near Nashville, Tennessee. Elder Maples spent the last 10 years building commercial restaurants and spent 30 years in the production management  of newspaper companies. Sister Maples has spent years as a real estate agent and retail business owner. Elder Maples is currently helping with the building of PCC special effects and Sister Maples is helping in several different areas This is their first mission.

Elder Stuart and Sister Charlotte Mikits

From Santa Fe, Tennessee. (Just outside of Nashville)  They have 6 children, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grand-daughter.  Elder Mikits was a repair machinist at GM for 32 years.  He’s built 3 homes – with his wife’s help.  Sister Mikits has worked  as a cake decorator, pharmacy technician and graphic artist.  Elder Mikits is working in Physical Facilities, and Sister Mikits is in Uniform Supply.

Elder Reed & Sister Nina Nielsen

From Paradise, Utah.  Elder Nielsen taught welding/engineering at Utah State University for 30 years.   He also owned a consulting business, and a welding & fabrication company.  Sister Nielsen spent most of her time raising their 10 children.  This is their 5th senior mission.  Elder Nielsen is using his welding skills at PCC, and Sister Nielsen is working in the seamstress area.

Elder Mel and Sister Adeline Palmer

From Thatcher, Arizona.  Elder Palmer retired after 35 years with Church Education, and is serving in Human Resources.  Sister Palmer, a homemaker works as a seamstress and helps at the Hawaii Mission Settlement.  This is their first senior mission.

Elder Bob and Sister Julie Phillips

From San Tan, Arizona.  Elder Phillips learned to survey in the Air Force; so after his retirement from the military (after 23 years of service), he and Sister Phillips started their own land surveying company.  Sister Phillips served a mission in the Phillipines.  She is now serving at the Island Office of the PCC.  Elder Phillips is working with physical facilities – including helping to survey needed projects.

Elder Brent & Sister Kay Przybille (pronounced “Sha-bill”)

From Vernon, British Columbia.  They have 4 children, and 11 grandchildren.  Elder Przybille worked for years in the forest and logging business, and more recently has worked as an Occupational Safety & Health professional.  He loves golf, and enjoys traveling.  Sister Przybille has been a bookkeeper and homemaker.  She is doing clerical work for PCC, and he is working in the Motor Pool and Safety areas.

Sister Halina Radzik

From the beautiful country of Switzerland!  Sister Radzik was born in France, and lived there until she was 8 years old – when her family moved to Switzerland.  She learned to speak German, Italian and English – to go with her French.  She has 3 married children, and 5 grandsons.  She’s been a pharmacist assistant, airline hostess, and a hospital receptionist.    Sister Radzik has been helping with several special projects since she arrived here.

Elder Gary & Sister Kathy Reynolds

From Idaho Falls, Idaho.  They have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.   Elder Reynolds has run a small engines shop for 40 years – while he was working at other jobs, such as a dealership mechanic, and environmental engineer.  Besides raising her family, Sister Reynolds worked in the retail sales, and as a corporate secretary. She’s helping with the student “Give and Take” program.  Elder Reynolds is a great help in the Motor Pool.

Sister Kim Rigby

From Centerville, Utah.  She was born and raised in Korea, and lived there until she was 23 years old.  She has 4 boys – 3 of which are married, and 5 grand-children. She recently has been working with the Church History department on the 50-year history of the Church in Korea.  She is currently serving in the customer service area of the PCC.

Elder Phil & Sister Susan Robinson

From St. George, Utah.  They have 5 married children and 15 grandchildren.  Elder Robinson spent most of his working years as a general contractor in the Salt Lake area.  He’s working in the Physical Facilities area of the PCC.   Sister Robinson, along with raising a family, has helped with floral design, catering, crocheting and interior decorating.  They have given great service to those of special needs.  Sister Robinson is in Human Resources.

Sister Gloria Schick

From Farmington, Utah – with a “home base” at a farm near Spokane, WA.  Sister Schick has worked in banking, real estate and investments.  She ran a production, drilling, and mining company for awhile.  She plays the ukulele well, and is working in the Mission Settlement.  She previously served a proselyting mission in Washington, D.C.

Sister Darlene Smith

From Anchorage, Alaska.  She has 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.  She served for years as an elementary school secretary.  She’s also been a great help to various special events, such as the “Charitable Giving Campaign for United Way.”   She enjoys reading, gardening and traveling.  She will be doing office work to help out at the PCC.

Sister Jolene Smith

From Rexburg, Idaho. Sister Smith has 5 brothers and 2 sisters.  She has been on BYU-Idaho’s faculty for 30 years, before coming to serve at the PCC. Her expertise is in “Fashion or Apparel Design and Construction.” She also has a home based sewing/design business. She is using these skills to help in the costume and seamstress areas of the PCC. She loves reading, music, flying kites, and watching sunsets. She served a mission in Toronto, Canada.

Elder Kreston and Carol Ann Snow

From Saratoga Springs, Utah. Elder Snow has worked as an auto mechanic and heavy truck/equipment operator. Sister Snow has been a dental assistant, office manager, and professional quilter. They are presently assigned to work in the physical facilities area. The Snows served previously at a dry pack cannery.

Elder Ed and Sister Sharon Swenson

From Kaysville, Utah. Elder Swenson has been an accountant/auditor and owner of a chemical company. Sister Swenson owns a crafts and fair boutique. They are both working in the Mission Settlement. They have previously served in Temple Square, the Conference Center, and in Palmyra.

Elder Jay & Sister Judy Waite

From Logan, Utah.  Elder & Sister Waite lived in the Washington, D.C. area for about 40 years, where he worked for the US Census Bureau.  He retired there as the Deputy Director & COO of the Bureau.  This is their first senior mission.  Both of the Waites are working in the area of PCC “Quality Control,” and Sister Waite will also help out in the seamstress area

Elder Gene and Sister Carol Walker

From Provo, Utah. Elder Walker has been a cattle rancher, and chemical analyst with Idaho Nuclear for 27 years. Sister Walker has authored two books and started a successful financial education company. They are working as hosts at the PCC. They previously served in England and Nauvoo.

Elder Carlton and Sister Jan Whelchel

From Palmdale, California. They are assigned as Hosts in the Mission Settlement. Elder Whelchel has been a professional musician and bookeeper. Sister Whelchel retired as an elementary school teacher for twenty one years.

Sister Brenda Woods

From Anthem, Arizona.  Sister Woods has been a voice teacher, a recruiter for a finance company, and a receptionist.  She sang in the Tabernacle Choir for 18 years, and has been involved with many other musical opportunities.  She is serving in the Mission Settlement.   This is Sister Woods’ first mission.
