The Polynesian Cultural Center is pleased to offer a variety of educational programs and materials that provide an introduction to Polynesia and a range of customized experiences for local resident children—either as part of an organized school field trip or as accompanied by their parents. For non resident students, these programs typically don't fit into their travel itineraries because they are only offered on limited days throughout the month and run prior to our gates opening for the general public. For many years the Cultural Center's educational program for school keiki (children) was called Junior Guides. We recently enhanced the program, which is now called Polynesian Explorer.
