With two World Fireknife Championship titles in 2005 and 2006 under his belt, Mikaele Oloa returns this year with a blaze. At the age of 16 in 2005, he was the youngest competitor in history to win the top honors. In his preliminary performance, he leaves no doubt why he is one of the World’s best. Orlando speed shows up in full force. Welcome back, Mikaele! Always a super showman, his semifinal routine had great thrills and skills to keep the crowd going. The couple of double knife drops might take his score down a notch, but the reverse spinning dual toss was incredible. We’ll see what the judges think. This challenge is too hard to call.
It’s finals time and Mikaele Oloa came to win. He dropped once during the first round of the competition, but he wasn’t the only one and he really stepped it up for round 2. Will it be enough to reclaim his title for a third time?
