Ha: Breath of Life: 5th Anniversary Special
The Story of Mana
Hā-Breath of Life, reinforces what guests to the Polynesian Cultural Center will have discovered about island cultures through the dramatic telling of one man's life story.
As the show opens, Mana's parents, who hurriedly evacuated their home when a volcano erupted, are washed ashore on an unknown island - yet happily welcomed and assimilated into a new culture. His mother, shortly thereafter, delivers a baby boy who is named Mana.
Nurtured by a village, Mana, evolves through the universal life themes of boyhood, young love, respect for elders, and the value of family - not without hardship and fierce trials.
Mana must prove his worthiness to wed Lani, the love of his life, by walking on fire. Ultimately, Mana must battle to protect his new family from marauding invaders.
Island Buffet & Ha: Breath of Life Combo
The Island Buffet serves savory Hawaiian, Asian and mainland entrees, buffet style. Desserts galore, too. It comfortably seats about 1,000 diners, making it the largest restaurant in the South Pacific.
