The Hawaiians just say komo mai — come in — to the luau. But conscientious hosts and hostesses might consider sending an invitation written on a Hawaiian card, or computer-printed on your favorite picture from Hawaii. If you really want to take it to the next level, consider sending a lei along with the invitation.
