      POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER OPENS EARLY FOR THE SUMMER SEASON

      La'ie, HI - June 30, 2005 - Just in time for summer, the Polynesian Cultural Center is now open starting at 11:30 a.m. to give visitors an extra hour to enjoy all of Polynesia all in one place.

      The new hours also give families time to get in and seated for the exciting Keiki Kaukau lunch that starts at 12 Noon. The Keiki Kaukau is part of the new 'Ohana Adventure package which launched this month at the PCC. The package gives families the opportunity to experience a fun, interactive keiki-friendly meal that pulls guests into the festivities, then they can explore the PCC together using the new Passport to Polynesia.

      The new hours of operation will be in effect until August 20, 2005.

      Founded in 1963 as a non-profit organization, the PCC has entertained more than 31 million visitors while preserving and portraying the culture, arts, and crafts of Polynesia to the rest of the world. In addition, the PCC has provided financial assistance to 14,000 young people from more than 70 different countries while they have attended Brigham Young University-Hawai'i. As a non-profit organization, all funds generated by the PCC are used for its daily operations and to support its cultural and educational missions.
