Manutahi is one of the largest and exciting groups
to watch in group competition. The group has received many awards
throughout the years. Most notably, Manutahi has won the Te
Mahana Hiro'a o Tahiti overall group award three years in a row. This year,
they were runner-up and had many soloists awarded for their excellence.
Manutahi has competed in many other events and has
proven itself as a leader in Tahitian cultural preservation. Pola
Teriipaia, a noted Tahitian and former dancer, has strived to make
his group as authentic as possible and is passionate about sharing
his knowledge and passion to his dancers and his audiences.
