Hawai'i's "Most Athentic Luau"
The Ali'i Luau is a "royal feast" that has been awarded the "Kahili Award" for being the most authentic Hawaiian Luau. The Luau featured live music and traditional Hawaiian song and dance. A "royal" Hawaiian Court was presented to add to the feel of being in a royal feast.

Good food. Melt in your mouth Kalua pig, poke, salmon, salad, taro roles, Teriyaki chicken, fish, and beef jerky, which was so fresh it didn't seem like jerky. Buffet style all you can eat. Great entertainment. Listen to Uncle Benny's version of Louis Armstrong's "Its a Wonderful Life." You'll be impressed

In my opinion, The Polynesian Cultural Center Luau, is the most authentic Luau I have attended. The Polynesian Cultural Center Alii Luau is located on the North Shore in the small town of Laie. Of all Hawaiian luaus is without a doubt the most authentic luau in all of Hawaii. This Oahu luau won the highly regarded Kahili award for preserving Hawaiian culture.

Prime dining features the following palette-pleasers: succulent prime rib, stir-fry scallops, teriyaki chicken, baked fish with lemon and tartar sauce, baked red potatoes, and steamed white rice accompanied by salted plums and black sesame seeds. Also included are island-fresh tossed greens with a host of condiments, jumbo shrimp cocktail, an assortment of garden vegetables, sashimi from the fresh catch of the day – and so much more.
Oh, and don’t forget to sample our Haupia Cream Puffs and Island Macadamia Nut Cream Pie.
The Island Buffet serves savory Hawaiian, Asian and mainland entrees, buffet style. Desserts galore, too. It comfortably seats about 1,000 diners, making it the largest restaurant in the South Pacific. Three enticing entrees are offered: sweet & sour pork, baked chicken with gravy, and ocean-fresh mahi mahi cooked to perfection and served with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
The Island Buffet's array of dining delights is sure to please any palate. Of course, true to Polynesian tradition – in which feasting has been elevated to an art form – you’re welcome to fill your plate as many times as you’d like.
