The information in the following pages is for local residents (kamaaina) of the state of Hawaii only. Proof of Hawaii residency is required to receive Kamaaina tickets at PCC. To book your tickets online and receive a kamaaina discount, you must enter your Hawaii zip code, as well as provide your actual proof of residency upon arrival to receive your tickets at PCC.

KAMAAINA AT PCC:
As an old saying goes, if you don't know what this word means, you probably aren't one. In Hawaiian, kamaaina literally means 'child of the land' (it also means 'familiar') or in other words, someone born in Hawaii. Now days, however, the word more popularly refers to someone who lives in Hawaii: a resident. The Polynesian Cultural Center is just one of many businesses in Hawaii that extend kamaaina discounts to residents for their year-round support. RATES:
Normally, kamaaina rates at the PCC are 20% off our regular retail rates. In many instances, kamaaina may also receive special prices on special events that occur at PCC throughout the year.
To book your kamaaina-rate tickets online:
- Enter your zip code into the field at the top of the page and click "submit" your discount will be applied in your existing shopping cart items.
- Provide your proof of Hawaii residency to pick up your tickets at PCC. Without proof of residency, you will be charged the difference between the amount you already have been charged and the full price ticket cost. Please see the qualification requirements below.
- If you are kamaaina and are trying to make reservations with visitors or guests who are not kamaaina, please call or email us.

For the best deal in town, ask about our Kamaaina Annual Pass, which is good for unlimited general admission, reserved space available seating in the Horizons evening show, admission to many of the special events the Center organizes. . . all for one year from the date of purchase. The Annual Pass also includes free parking. . . just show your pass upon arrival to the parking attendant.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
We always have special events throughout the year that are not usually tailored to our visiting guests from the mainland. The Makaha Sons, Keali'i Reichell, O'brien Eselu, Aunty Genoa Keawe, Kapena and many others have performed on our stages. Also, the Annual World Fire Knife Competition, Tahiti festival, and Moanike'ala Hula festival are just some of our special cultural festivals and activities.
