HONOLULU, HI – The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) welcomed the University of Hawai‘i (UH) Men’s Volleyball team this past weekend as part of Braddahhood and Sistahhood Grindz, a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) nutrition and career development program created for the UH Athletics Department to help recruit and retain Hawai‘i’s top athletes.

“We’re proud to support UH student athletes and hope to share with them our unique Pacific cultures, entertainment and island cuisine,” says P. Alfred Grace, President and CEO of the Polynesian Cultural Center. “This year marks our 60th anniversary and we are thrilled to be part of this program with UH athletes and its coaches and staff, and we look forward to continuing this relationship for years to come.”

The team enjoyed a day at PCC with a tour of the Islands of Polynesia, which includes admission to PCC’s six island villages, canoe rides, a Lā‘ie & Temple tour, Hawaiian Journey movie experience and free digital photo. Following the tour, the group indulged in a hearty dinner at the Gateway Buffet, featuring the largest variety of authentic island cuisine and local favorites. To end the day at PCC, each athlete received a ticket to experience the HĀ: Breath of Life evening show.
