The Polynesian Cultural Center Celebrates The Holiday Season With A Giving Machine To Benefit Local Nonprofits
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 8, 2023
LĀ‘IE, HI – The Polynesian Cultural Center celebrates the season of giving with a Giving Machine to benefit Hawai‘i’s local nonprofit partners: Project Vision Hawai‘i, Aloha Harvest, U.S. Vets Hawai‘i, Hui Mahi‘ai ‘Āina and Catholic Charities Hawai‘i.
The Giving Machine is part of the “Light the World” campaign that encourages the community – local residents and visitors alike – to give and make a difference in other people’s lives. Similar to vending machines where snacks and goodies can be purchased through a quick push of a button, the Giving Machines offer those who purchase from them contributions like much needed supplies or products go directly to the local nonprofit partners.
The Giving Machines will be located at the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Hukilau Marketplace through December 31, 2023.
