Polynesian Cultural Center Announces “Sharing Aloha” Documentary Trailer Release And Official Premiere Date

July 9, 2025 – Lā‘ie, Hawai‘i – Treu Entertainment is proud to announce the public release of the official trailer for Sharing Aloha, an inspiring new documentary that captures the center’s extraordinary mission to preserve and celebrate Polynesian culture through generations. The full-length film is set to premiere at Ward Consolidated Theatres on Friday, August 29, 2025. 

Now available to view at SharingAlohaTheMovie.com, the trailer offers a first look at the heartwarming stories of the people behind PCC, their cultural traditions, and behind-the-scenes dedication that have made the PCC a beloved institution for more than 60 years.

“Sharing Aloha is more than a film—it’s a celebration of our people, our heritage, and the unique spirit of aloha that we share with every guest who walks through our doors,” said Alfred Grace, President and CEO of the Polynesian Cultural Center. “We’re excited to share this powerful story with our community and the world.”

The feature-length documentary will debut with a red-carpet screening at Ward Consolidated Theatres on August 20, with public showtimes to follow. Produced in collaboration with award-winning filmmakers, Sharing Aloha offers a rare glimpse into the personal journeys of students, staff, and alumni whose lives have been transformed through their connection to the center’s mission and each other.

“This film is a love letter to the people of Polynesia and to the power of aloha,” said Blair Treu, producer and director of Sharing Aloha. “We wanted to tell a story that captures not only the beauty of the islands, but the resilience, joy, and purpose that shine through every person who makes the Polynesian Cultural Center what it is.”
